Good gifts…

September brings the start of the new academic year. It’s a settling in period, perhaps getting used to new surroundings, teachers, and class mates as well as being reunited with good friends. Whilst these ‘seedlings’ are getting established, nurtured and encouraged to develop to be the best they can be, within the church it’s a time of preparing for Harvest. A chance to look back at all the good gifts God has provided for us throughout the year; whether nourishment, work, family, or a home to place your roots, support from friends and loved ones, happy memories and experiences…When going through life’s challenges and struggles, it’s not always easy to see the gifts there, but take a look back and you’ll see some of the little things that helped to ease the way, a support, a new direction, a word, a reassuring smile, a glimmer of hope (no matter how small) that you can hold onto…
