Looking forward to Harvest!

There are already signs that Autumn is on it’s way – the mornings have a slight chill to them and the leaves on the trees are starting to blush with their beautiful autumnal colours – always a glorious sight!

It also means it’s that time of year again – Harvest Time! You are warmly invited to join us throughout the celebrations; whether you would like to donate some produce for the harvest display, join us for our traditional country Harvest Festival, enjoy a delicious ploughman’s spread in the afternoon, or come along for the fun of the Harvest sale!

Celebrations start with the decorating of the Chapel on Saturday 30th September and continue with the traditional Harvest Festivities:

Harvest Festival Sunday 1st October

10.45am Service led by Rev David Hollingsworth

3pm Service led by Rev Mike Shrubsole and followed by Ploughman’s tea in the Church hall

Harvest Service & Sale Monday 2nd October 7pm, a short celebratory service followed by the sale of harvest goods in a fun auction style (fruit, veg, home-baked delicacies and preserves, flowers… come along and see). It is such a special time of year to get together and give thanks for everything God has provided for us already and for the many autumnal and winter delights He has in store for us!

All very welcome.
