Summer is well and truly here and at the time of writing, the sun is shining and not a cloud in the sky. A warm breeze gently blows through the open window carrying fragrant scents from the garden, birds are singing and the bees are busy buzzing about their daily tasks… with whispers of this gorgeous sunny spell lasting throughout August now’s the time to make the most of any chance to ‘just be’ – break the everyday routines and soak up the surroundings whether in the garden, along the coast or in your favourite cafe. Long summer evenings provide great opportunities to spend time with friends and family; reminiscing, planning and having a good laugh. If you’re not travelling off on holiday, create that holiday feeling at home by doing something you’ve always wanted to do, take time out and sit back (even if it’s just for a bit) – summer is time dedicated to you.
‘O Father of goodness, we thank you for happiness, healthiness, friendship and fun, for the good things we think of and the good things we do, and all that is beautiful, loving and true’ A prayer from France
