This month preparations are underway for the harvest celebrations;

It’s the culmination of the years cycle capturing tastes and flavours within delicious preserves (which teamed with freshly baked bread or scones is a must!). It’s the stocking up of the store cupboard and larder with essentials and treats for the winter months along with discovering new local flavours to tempt your taste buds…It will also be the first harvest festival our new windows will see – they have been a great addition to the church, maintaining the style of the original windows with the added benefit of double glazing (so should help keep us all toasty warm in the coming winter months).
