Wishing you a Happy Christmas

We’re looking forward to the beautiful traditional carols, decorating the chapel and our homes, warm mince pies, Christmas tree chocolates, and the lighting of the candles in our advent ring as we count down the Sundays to Christmas morning. This Christmas is that extra little bit special as it falls on the fifth Sunday of advent.

We’re starting off the celebrations this month with a short Christmas presentation by the Sunday School on Sunday 4th Dec, followed by our much loved Carols by Candlelight on Thursday 15th Dec at 7.30pm – always a beautiful evening, and a great opportunity to see the chapel softly lit by welcoming candlelight. This year the special service will include a Christmas Drama by Jenny Yates.

The festivities continue with our Carol Service on Sunday 18th Dec at 10.45am – come along and sing to your heart’s content.

Then it’s an early start on Christmas morning – 9.30am (though I expect many will be up long before that – too excited for sleep!). Bring along friends and family (well behaved dogs allowed too) for a lovely start – a warm Christmas welcome awaits you.

Wishing you a peaceful and very happy Christmas. May love and hope always fill your hearts and lives this season and last throughout the coming year.
